Over the years, I’ve worked in several capacities offering my strong English language skills to businesses and individuals in Finland. Whether it’s rock music lyrics, proofreading assignments, live or written translation, or foreign business representation -- you name it, I’ve done it! During 2000, I worked as a foreign business representative for Finland’s largest sports nutrition supplement company, FuncFood. During that time, I negotiated seven different brands of top foreign product into Finland for FuncFood (then named Finnish Sports Nutrition, Ltd.), among them Biotech, Nature’s Best, Country Life and Muscletech. I served as a translator for the company on several occasions, even representing them at Europe’s largest bodybuilding and fitness expo, FIBO in Germany. I have offered my services to several musicians throughout the years in Finland also. Due to the barriers and differences in the English and Finnish languages, many times various expressions and trains of thought are lost or misunderstood. I have helped the artists that I have worked with express their prose and lyrical messages much more adeptly and fluidly. At times this assistance has significantly improved the artists product, as has been witnessed by album reviews and listener comments. A small list of some of the Finnish artists that I have worked with in offering my language skills include monster supergroup Lordi, Thunderstone, Celesty, Timo Kotipelto, Stratovarius, Random Eyes, Lullacry and Godsplague. In addition to the aforementioned instances, I have aided several other businesses ranging from those in the music industry to home heating companies to fitness realted outfits with my language skills. In mostly all of these cases the translation work that I have performed has centered around working from Finnish to English. If you need help in these areas, I am the man to call!
